How does CIC contact you after you send out the PR application?

hey all, Its been about a month since i sent out the PR + OWP application package to sponsor my wife, i was under the impression that they will contact me via the email that was provided in the application.

Is that correct? I'm just wondering what to expect after sending out the application package. I know it can take more than a month before they let us know, but now im wondering if theres something else i should be doing. Do i need to make one of those myCIC accounts? Or do they just contact me via the email i gave them when theyre ready?

Yes, they will email you.

Make sure to regularly check your spam folder to make sure any emails don't go in there. Also, if you are like me, you supplied an email address and they send snail mail to your sponsors' address anyhow.

Like the others have said, they will either send mail to your address you gave them, or if you gave them your email address they will just send email. Check spam folder just in case anything goes there, but the first time they emailed me it went straight to my inbox. But just check since you won't know until you get your first email.
