How do we request GCMS? And what is the reason for requesting them? What will they help with?

Look at my sig, GCMS is the most important info you can order - I ordered 13 in total - if it weren't for it, I wouldn't be ahead of their game

GCMS notes is a must have. You should order one at least once a month, its so cheap too, well worth it. When you spot an officer doubting your evidence, it will allow you to counter their doubts quickly by submitting extra evidence early.

That's about what I figured. They received our information 10 weeks ago, and they are not responding to emails, so I went to my MP this week to try and get some answers. I don't begrudge anyone else's getting their cases resolved, but it's kind of hard to sit back and wait patiently when you see people who sent in their stuff months after you did have already landed :(

perhaps ordering your GCMS notes will help?

Ok I saw your video! But on my phone it's hard to follow, no sound or notes showing up and I can't zoom in. I will have to try after work, but thank you in advance!

What is the difference of ATIP and GCSM? I'm a little confused with the links, not sure if they are basically the same thing or what? Not sure which to fill out. Also the website said only citizens or PR can apply for the notes, so should my canadian husband request the notes instead of me, the applicant?

Ok I ordered the notes. I requested to have them sent electronically how long does this usually take until you received your notes? It said to allow 30 days, did you get them sooner then that?

Also, thank you User828 for your helpful video!! My husband is sponsoring me and it's been over 8 months. Why does sponsoring parents take years and years?? Do you have to have different processes or extra obligations and standards you and your parents have to meet?

Katester, I have read a few people's comments here and there and it seems to be anywhere from 2-4 weeks. A friend of mine also got his in two weeks, but that was for a citizenship application. I wonder if the time it takes to fill the request varies with the kind of records you ask for?
