How do you get your PR card the first time ?

Hello,
I've obtained my Canada VISA along with some PR papers. I know that to get my PR card I must go to Canada first.
My question is how does that happen ? do you get your PR card in the airport or somewhere else ? does someone help you with that process there ?

When you land, you'll be asked for an address (you can change this address later) and PR cards will be delivered to this address in 1-4 months.

What if I don't have an address yet ? since I'll need to find rent when I get there

Most people give the address of a friend of relative at the port of entry. Is that an option for you?

No, not really, I don't have anyone there. Is it possible for me to give them the address after I find rent ?
