How do I get my Permanent Residency??

Hello all,

I have been living in Canada for 1 year and 5 months. I came from Chile with an open work Visa and now I am under a Work Permit with a company, valid for two years.

My question is the following. How can I apply for permanent residency? and what are the requirements?

You have to find some immigration class here that you qualify under, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/apply.asp and then you follow the instructions and apply.

If you are working a skilled position and have been doing so for full time for a year or more, you can apply under Canadian Experience class. That is pretty straight forward to do.
