How do I come to know if my VISA is Rejected or Accepted

Hi,

I applied for Visitor Visa for Canada but I am not able to know whether my Visa has been rejected or accepted.
I had just received a letter which mentioned that an "Email has been sent to your email Id regarding your application" but I have not received such email yet.
Please help me to know my Visa status.

If you applied Online ... check your account on their website, and they will send you an email that requests your passport if they decide to give you the visa.

If you applied by paper in VFS office, you will get a response in your email if you get rejected, or you will get an email to tell you that your passport has dispatched to the VFS office without a refused letter in your email which means you're approved.

I did not received any email from them.
But a letter was couriered along with my passport which said that you can check your email about your application.
I am blank now as I am not able to understand what can be done.
If it is rejected then they can update the same on email but still not received.

Your visa was rejected. They will send you a refusal letter
