What order did everyone organize their forms in for their application? Is there a guide line for this?

I organized my forms and supporting documents in the order the checklist said to.

We used the old kit, but we put all the forms in the order they appeared on the checklist with the checklist and the bar code pages on top.

I was going to put the checklist first and then the bar code pages! Does it matter which order the barcode pages are in?

You should read through the complete application guide, I think it gets into the details about that stuff. It's hard to remember at this point what I read where.

I used the old application kit.

I will read into it tomorrow! I have been reading into it while I've been completing the app for reference

"Place the barcode page on the top of each individual package."

Barcodes on top. So when they open your package, they'll see the barcode page first and could scan your app immediately. Follow as the instructions say. I agree with danawhitaker, you should read the complete application guide.

Barcode first,
Checklist next,
Then all forms / attachments / evidence in the order they are in or asked for in the checklist.

How many packages did everyone do? I have seen people read of people doing 2 or 3 packages. Do you put a checklist on the sponsors package and applicants package? Or is that something that was done with the old application?

I followed the check list.

I followed this advice right here:

This is mainly focused on the old kit, but you can somehow get an idea on how to organize your new kit app. Just follow the checklist provided by CIC and you'll be fine.

**the use of binder clips and staples are not advisable anymore.

Are paper clips allowed?

I am thinking it would be easiest to follow the checklist. Apparently once they receive it they take it all apart and reorganize it anyways

That is cool, i did the exact same thing with 3 enveloppes as well, all labelled with a list of what was inside ☺️

I followed the check list and sent it the same way as is the link above; the old package did ask to staple some of the things together. Not sure about the new one.

Thank you everyone. I noticed in the link posted, they had a client ID on their folder. I don't have one yet. At what point do you get one?
