How can you sure that you are under first 5000 intake?

Last Aug 2016 MON project took 5000 applicant. But if anyone had queue position 12,000 ( twelve thousand) then he/she also could submit the application and paid as per invoice. This money is non-refundable. As Quebec will take only 5000 then what will be the fate of rest applicant??
Do you have idea? please share the true story.

Yes ur file number and serial number both are same. Hope you're in a 2nd intake applicant. So that's why u get 9000 file number. It starts with June intake applicants. So they got beginning numbers. Hope u get some sort of answer..

My Document Serial Number is D0000010818. We know that MON project will take 5000+5000= 10,000. In this case why they have added me to the eligible group and generated invoice. I have paid for my spouse+2 kids and my total score is 68 ( as per my calculation).
But I am very confused whether I should wait for their feedback or I should stop expecting the offer as my Document serial number is more than 10,000.

Can anyone help me please.

The midi knows by their experience that some of of the applicants won't eligible. And some are withdraw their files. So they take more than what they mentioned. So don't worry if you have enough points and got AOR.it's mean u only have to wait for checklist.
