How can I extend my stay in Canada beyond 6 months

Hello,
I am an Indian Citizen currently in Ontario Canada on tourist visa and planning to extend my stay in Canada beyond 6 months;
Details are as below -
1. Have a multiple entry visa valid till 2023
2. Entered Canada on April 10th 2018 and return date on passport is Oct 9th 2018
3. This is my first visit to Canada
4. Can I apply online through CIC website
5. Are there any chances of any extension as I already have

Hi

You can apply online to extend your status. Too early now, wait until September. No one can tell you if it will be approved or not.
