Hi,

I just realized that I made a super silly mistake.

My First name and Last name on my EE profile are mixups. They are in the opposite order.

I went into the profile, but the section is locked, so I cannot correct it.

The profile was created last June, and I'm hoping to get invited in the next round.

What should I do to fix this mistake?

Thank you very much for your great help!

I suppose there is a link on the top when you open your express entry profile, saying edit family information, or something similar.
You can change basic data there.

It's funny. This happened to me when I had applied for a student permit for myself and work permit for my wife. I accidentally reversed the order on the name for my wife and didn't notice. In the profile i wrote her last name first and first name last :p. 3 months after submitting my application i realized my mistake. Raised a webform but by that time we got both the permits approved and our passports were requested.

I think IRCC also missed the error. So when they requested my passport i told them that there has been an error in the name. So they just reprinted the new permit for wife and stuck it on the passport :p

Thank you for sharing your story. I'm so happy for you that you've sorted out your documents with IRCC's help. :)
