I went to the border and became a PR this past weekend through BC PNP employer driven stream - skilled worker.

I have been unhappy at my job for the past year. There have been lots of changes and a high employee turnover. I stayed because I did not want to jeopardise my PR and have to start the whole process again.

How bad would it look if I quit now?

I am still intending to reside in BC, in the same city, within the same profession.

Quitting won't affect your PR status.

Obviously your employer may not be very happy. Depends if your professional pool is pretty small and everyone knows each other. If it is people will know you left right after you received PR they may not be impressed. If there is a lot of turnover in your office and the office is well known for not being great then shouldn't be a problem.
