how and where to get biometrics ??

i just applied for an outland visa and i haven’t gotten a biometrics request yet, but i’m worried because the only place i know to get them in mexico is mexico city... my husband lives in cancun which is a 20 hour drive or a 3 hour expensive flight .. he works 6 days a week and is attending school on his day off. i’m really worried that when we get the request it will be impossible for him to complete ! anyone know any more info or had this issue?

Does he have a valid US visa? If yes, he can go to the US if that's closer.

If not, he'll have to get it in Mexico. You have to give biometrics, no way around it.

Unfortunately it looks like the only VFS office is indeed in Mexico City.
