Hi,

my friend will travel to canada in january and he wanted to stay off campus. so do immigration ask for owner details or he will face any kind of problem. Otherwise he will stay at university for couple of days then will shift to off campus please who travel to canada can help me on this issue

Border officers normally asks where the traveler lives. It's up to the traveler to say where he lives. The traveler need his travel document such as PR card, passport, PRTD, etc.
