housing in manitoba----please need help here

will be attending university of winnipeg and hubby will be attending university of manitoba...

.....does anyone know if these two univerities are close to each other
.......how is rent in manitoba
........which area will be the best to reside ?

The University of Winnipeg is downtown while the University of Manitoba is in the south of Winnipeg. It takes 20-25 minutes by bus from one to the other. I would recommend finding a place to live in a community in between schools such as Fort Rouge, or St. Vital. There should be some very inexpensive apartments in those areas (under $700 for a large 1 bedroom).
