Hello, I am a recent graduate on applied status of my work permit working 2 part time jobs. I work as a marketing coordinator part time for a company and as a stocker in a retail store.
How many hours do I have to complete in a year to have a 1 year Canadian work experience for my PR application?

Also I believe both these jobs come under different NOC categories, so would working for these 2 jobs be considered as 1 full time job?

If these 2 part time jobs do not count towards 1 full time job hours, I can count my marketing job part time hours towards the minimum requirement of hours for the experience? or it has to be compulsory full time job and not part time.

Thank You

The work experience must be NOC A, B or 0 to count towards PR. Your job as a retail store stocker is NOC 6622 which is a D skill level job - this means you cannot count this work experience towards PR.

You will need to wait until you have 1560 part time hours in your marketing job before you can say you have 1 year of work experience.

If I get other full time marketing coordinator job. Can I use my part time marketing job hours to make it 1560 hours later?

Yes, you can use your part time marketing job hours. Note that you don't just need the right number of hours. You also need to have the right number of weeks.

You need 52 weeks where you worked at least 30 hours in order to claim a year of work experience. This is how you calcualte that.
1) For each week where you worked 30 hours or more, count that as 1 week of work experience.
2) Add up all of the part time hours from your marketing job and then divide by 30.
- when these two amount add up to 52 weeks totdal, you have a year of work experience.
