Hours per week

Dear All,

I have a question, how do we calculate hours per week? What I mean to say is, do we exclude lunch hours?

My timings are 9 to 6 that makes it 9 hours * 5 days = 45 hours per week. Should I exclude 1 hour i.e. lunch hour? 8 hours * 5 = 40 hours per week?

Sorry, if this question is silly. Just want to make sure because it is no where stated on my appointment letter or salary slips about hours per week.

doesnt matter from eligibility or scoring perspective as CiC doesnt count any hours you work above 30 hours/week.
