guys, HKVO confirmed my wife's CoPR had been sent out on Oct 5, which was the same date she noticed her application got approved on MyCIC page. It is said that mailing to Vancouver will be a lot slower than to Toronto region so we're expecting her CoPR to arrive on some day later this week or next week.

Congratulations. Long wait huh

Not super slow and not rocket fast. I'm okay with the processing time - 6 months from Received to DM.

Hi guys! I send my application for my wife as outbound on Friday! Hope CIC is fast enough!

I saw a few guys got their DM who submitted the application in late march this year. Congrats to all those who get their application completed so fast.

The application for my wife was received on Feb 1 this year. the medical was done late Nov. last year. now they asked my wife to re-do medical even though the medical is still valid.

frustrating, but hope DM will come soon. Any body on the same boat?

Have you ordered notes? May be helpful to see what's taking so long. Is your case complicated? Requesting to re-do medical usually means they don't think the approval will be issued prior to medical expiration which is valid for 1 year.

Thanks for your reply. My application was received on Feb 1, 2016. My wife's exam was late Nov. 2016. So the total process has not reached 13 months yet. Is it fine to request notes? My case is not complicated. My wife was divorced like 5 or 6 years ago, and it is my first marriage.

Of course you can order your notes anytime you want.

The processing time reference is only for us to look at before we can following up our case on eCAS.

Thanks for the input. just found the link, and will do that. i would presume i was requesting the electronic notes of the immigration or citizens' officer, right? I am just wondering how long i can get those notes.

From what i hear it takes approximately 30 days to receive your notes.

Wow. the auto reply also asked not to contact them before 30 days. Hopefully by the time i got it, i got my DM already.

For residents of Taiwan how long did it take to receive the COPR mail? My wife just got approved and i am wondering if she will get the COPR before she comes to Canada on her planned trip at the end of November.

Hi everyone, good day.
My passport has been sent to Canada Visa Office BEIJING on Oct. 18, 2016, I don't know how long it will take to get my passport back. did someone have similar experience? thank you
