Hi All,

My case status is CIC HK office received medical report and requested from police check up and pay RPRF fee which I did on Mar 22 and checked they received my police check up on Apr 8.

My question is can I assume the DM will be soon and within May as my husband want me to go in June.

Please advise and appreciated.

Thanks

I assumed you are a Hong Kong passport holder, right? I got copr less than a.month after they received my police clearance. However, everyone's background check is different, some may take longer while others can be fast. When did u do the medical? N also, there maybe delay because of processing the RPRF fee.

Hi hfts,

Yes im a hk passport holder and my baby girl is holdinh Canadian citizen and passport.

My medical checkup did it on Sept 18, 2015. My lawyer said just make sure the medical report is valid more 120 days when we receive their email to do police checkup and pay for RPRF fee. And I received that email in Mar 18. So I hope no need to redo.medical and DM will come within next 2 weeks.

May I know why there will be delay in RPRF payment?

Thanks

Hi, please help me.

I am from mainland, received a letter from HK office, they sent me a checklist of materials. The message is following:

If not yet submitted: Copy of Hukou (household register) if you reside in the People’s Republic of China or Taiwan, accompanied by a notarized translation into either English or French. Translation must be part of the notarized booklet.

In our city, HuKou is tired to house. When I sold out my house years ago, my HuKou was withdrawn, and the public security department issued me a household certificate as a proof of residence. This certificate reflects my personal information such ID number, date of birth, nationality, original place of birth, residence address, marital status, education level. However, it is only for domestic use, no foreign. I have used it to apply for birth certificates, marriage registration, for no criminal notary. I have consulted the notary department. They said they are unable to notary.

Under such circumstances, how do I do to reply HK office?

I like to ask my question. I checked on-line to see it showed Decision Made, but I do not know what the decision is. I would like to know how long does it take for a posted decision made until you get real notificatiation what that decision is and where does the actual written decision goes to?

My husband and I have been married for 26 years and this is already the 17th month of our application, I do not know what we should do. We have checked the mail, nothing we can see which give us any indication. What does the COPR looks like. Is possible that there are cases the Government sent out the decision after many month after they make a decision?

If it shows decision made, that means they have made the decision of ur application. I live in Hong Kong , I got the mail with copr on the same day it changed to decision made. I'm sure you will get something in the mail shortly. The copr is just a piece of paper with all your information on it. It shows "Confirmation of Permanent Resident" on top

Is possible that they will take month? I have my friend checked the mail and it has been two weeks, so has people experience real delay of what the decision is?

That I really don't know, from what I saw in the forum, most people received mail within a week or so. Did you order notes before? Did the notes show any doubt in your application?

Hi hfts,

I got an other major issue, I found out my name is wrong on AOR 1&2 email and my lawyer sent an email to HKVO office, email: HKONG.IM-EMAIL-COURRIEL@international.gc.ca said that the name was wrong and request to update. Until now, the ecase system still showing the wrong name.

Is there anyway i can call or other correct email to HKVO to request the update of my name? I'm so worry it will affect the DM process :(

P.S. HKVO is received my medical reports/police report which shown my correct name.

Thanks
