i submitted passport to Hong Kong Visa office on Nov 21 as well, still no news yet
good luck to you gersonjaijai and ireney

Thank you Sing_Tao...

I don't understand why HKVO takes so long working on our cases!!!!! How could they keep your passport for over 2 months? what if you have other plans or business trips, did they ever tell you they are willing to hold your passport that long? otherwise you should file a complain or ask them get back to you as soon as possible.

Good luck on your case too!!

HOPE EVERYONE WILL SEND A COMPLAINT ABOUT THIS CASE. THEY SHOULDNT HOLD THE PASSPORT THAT LONG WHAT IF YOU NEED IT IN CASE OF EMERGENCY.

thank you ireney

Hi browntrout,

When I handed in my application to CPP Mississauga, my police clearance was over 3 months old and two forms contained the scanned signature. I was wondering to submit another new made police clearance and two forms with my real signature, once I receive the email from Hongkong visa center. Is there anyone doing this before?

I received a letter that my application is intended to refuse as we don't have enough proof showing our intention to move back to Toronto.

What do you all think if we buy a flight ticket ( one way ) to Toronto ?
As my husband have job in HongKong, he can't leave at the moment. He needs around 3 months of notice of resignation.

If I go to Toronto as a tourist, I can stay there up to 6 months. I am from HongKong (Visa-exempted for tourist)
Can I work if I am a tourist ?

What can I do / provide to show our intention to move back to Toronto ?
Anyone advise ? Appreciated for all of your reply.

I'm sorry I don't know this case, start a new thread outside of Hong Kong timeline with your case and your background, and i am sure one of the senior members will help you.

Just check my status and shown :

Permanent Residence Application Status : Decision Made

1. We received ireney's application for permanent residence on July 12, 2013.

2. We started processing ireney's application on September 26, 2013.

3. Medical results have been received.

4. A decision has been made on ireney's application. The office will contact ireney concerning this decision.

Is that a bad news ? can't see any good news from no.4 wording , so confused.
I sent an email about my passport last week.
Will they reject my application because I asked about the status of my passport ?
Anyone advise ?

From comments or experience sharing of senior members from other threads on the forum, it is more positive than negative.
So congratulations to you. Hope I will get to that soon.
