oh! really ????? thanks! i will check with my consultant as well.
it will be awesome if i can do it now.

When I filled the MSP form, what did you fill for your case? As neither canadian citizen/PR, nor work permit/student visa...

The most absurd thing happened today. We had submitted a case specific inquiry on CIC website a long time ago. And finally today we have received a reply from the Hong Kong visa office. The email said our application is in Sydney. How can this be? The applicant holds a mainland China passport and neither the sponsor or the applicant has any affiliation to Sydney.

Similar thing happened to me a while ago, I was flying from Toronto to HK but my luggage found its way to Costa Rica...:)
Did they explained why? Provided you with any further details whether it will finish processing in there? I think you should order your GCMS notes

I didn't see this type of requests before. Did you send the translated/notarized copies of Hukou with your original package? Is there any mentioning of "ppt" in the request?

I checked, it's Sydney, Nova Scotia not Sydney, Australia. One questions, what does the Sydney, Nova Scotia office do? I mean, is it a routing center? Like one that collects all the applications and route them to different Visa Offices around the world??

Sydney, Nova Scotia used to receive all economic class applications and route them through VO around the world. Nowadays, I am not sure..

My wife in Mainland China included her hukou, translated and notarized, in her original application. I thought that was in the instructions. Her AOR2 asked for one passport photo so she obeyed but we saw no reason for it. She had included the proper size and number of other photos as required in her application.

Oh. That might be why. I'm not sure whether my agent put my hukou stuff in the original app or not. But they sure do have some photos of me tho. Weird.

Thanks for the info. :)

I sent them the inquiry on Sept. 29 and they just replied last night (Nov. 9th). I really hope a mistake hasn't been made in the process :(

Hi tryee, I was just checking the Hong Kong timeline spreadsheet and saw that you never received AOR2 from the Hong Kong office? I am asking this because we had never received AOR2 from Hong Kong.

>:( :'( What a great news!

Just received my note today...feeling so sad and frustrated now...
it seems nobody has even touched my file since March.
The last activity was in July and everything shown "not started" except medical which is going to expire couple days later...

Contacted my agent and see what he will suggest me to do ><
Im thinking of doing another med....
