Most of my friends got their medical week after their Application was received. Atleast they know that they wont be rejected.
I cant stress enough dont waste time on CEC if u can get through PNP...Not even 50% of people from august even got their MR till now....

I hope people will find the above advice useful

Thanks

I wish your friends success. But receiving the medical request is not proof that the application will be accepted. It can be refused at any time prior to landing.

That is right that PNP is easier to get but your employer should be willing to sponsor you and give all the company papers. Only if someone know you can do this for you.Once application is approved by PNP then you apply for PR but there are no chance of rejection after PNP is approved. But there are lot of things they look for PNP like wage/hour etc.

Thats true, but there is a special program in Alberta for PNP which needs 2 yrs of exp working in Alberta. This doesnt need anything from employer.

Even without experience if you are under skill class you can apply. Only condition is that you must be working

The requirements for PNP_Alberta says you have to be a permanent employee or your employer should agree to hire you as a permanent employee.

http://www.albertacanada.com/immigration/immigrating/ainp.aspx

Does this mean contractual employees working as skilled workers are not eligible??

gladaki and seniors,

Please confirm whether we must have 2 years of exp to apply for AINP under alberta work experience or not.

I was going through AINP site and it was suggesting that we must require 2 years of exp in eligible occupations list. please confirm

I have 21 months of exp in alberta and currently working. My job is also under eligible occupations list. Will I be eligible to apply under alberta work exp in AINP?

http://www.albertacanada.com/immigration/immigrating/ainp-awe-criteria.aspx

At the time of application, you must show that you have been working full-time in Alberta in one of the eligible occupations. The eligible occupations list includes the 2006 National Occupational Classification (NOC) skill level for each eligible occupation. If your current occupation is a NOC skill level:
0, A or B occupation, you must show you have been working full-time in Alberta in an eligible occupation for two out of the past three years; or
C occupation, you must show you have been working full-time in Alberta in an eligible occupation for three out of the past four years.

Yes I know. I have been previously nominated by Alberta in 2011. I left the province for personal reason. Since AINP is employer driven, my nomination cerficate was cancelled and CIC was notified. They consequently withdraw my PR application after asking to provide a new PNP certificated which I was hoping to getting with saskatchewan within 3 months of application. This of course was not the case, I'm still waiting for that certificate.
