Hi All... I am in Canada for past one month. But me and my wife are feeling very depressed here. Our guilt of leaving our parents in their old age is making us feel miserable. Will try for few more months.. Any one else is in canada and feeling the same way..? Please guide us what to do?

We sent our file through HCCP on Jan 2020.

You can join ESL classes at the local library.
Talk to Local Immigrant Settlement Services. Sometimes, they are running various programs to cheer up your mood.

Hi, this is just my opinion.

You said that both you and your wife are very depressed in Canada, feeling miserable for leaving your parents in their old age and the guilt feeling of being miserable…then you really need to think if going to Canada is worth it.

If both of you are not happy and depressions continue to make both of you feel miserable after giving yourselves few more month to decide, then you know exactly what to do.

I wish both of you well and your parents.

Just a question, Has CIC ever called your employer to confirm the employment while you are in Canada. My cousin is working here for last 5 months and her employer got a call from CIC to check up everything. Is it normal?
