Hi, I haven't been here in a while. I am an outside applicant from PH with application submitted Jan 2020.

So my application has finally progressed - I received a medical request.

What is the timeline once medical is completed?

Also, I would just like to make a clarification, once all of this is done, what type of VISA will I receive? Is it a work permit?

Lastly when it is time to go to Canada, would I be needing to present docs or declare anything to POEA?

AOR May 2021.
Biometrics request January 2022.
Medical request April 2022.

Got Biometric and Medical. request 2 weeks ago. Dec 2019 applicant outside Canada. However, employer did not received any email from CiC to check birth cert or employer situation just like others, I was wondering maybe they are skipping the employer verification if they have some data? I would imagine they should have access to tax docs or child info. But maybe they will request down the road, it just seems add doing medical if eligibility isnt finished yet including employer.

Hopefully PP request will be fast post medical, no energy to wait for months for whatever they forgot to check lol.

Just wondering since there's an applicant whose medical is done and passed but in gckey eligibility and background check are still in process. I thought medical's the last step. Hoping to get PPR soon

can I ask how did you know that eligibility and background check are still in progress? I couldn't see it on Gckey account. thanks

You have to find another employer and replace the offer of employment with all tax docs for employer with doc note

Hi ProudNanny, I was just wondering did you ever received a biometric and medical request after the requested documents? I wonder why we havent received any request yet, but our biometrics is valid until 2029 and I believe they wouldnt ask a new one unless it is for PR approval already or stage 2. While we also had an upfront medical at the time we submitted our application which is valid until January 2021but never left Canada since then, just wondering if they will still request a new medical. Thanks for your thoughts on this
