Seems like most of 2019 folks are not active here. It would have been nice to have one forum instead of tons of communication channels/groups. Forum has advantage over chatrooms since most are archived and the public can view/benefit, but to each his own.

If you're the lucky year 2019 applicant, let's start leading the HCCP/HSW Pilot team for the many 1st to get a WP or maybe PR? Who's going to be the first to land from outside?

cheers

Hello 2019 HCCP Applicants!

It's been 18 months since my app was received. I'm sure you guys have more interesting timeline, pls share here so we can all have a feel of what is happening to 2019 HCCP applications. Considering the recent IRCC memo for speeding up 1,500 HCCP applicants and the express processing of "2020" applicants.

Cheers!

App Received: Nov. 6, 2019
AOR: Jan. 27, 2020
Biometric: Waiting
Medical: Waiting
For me they received application: 27 October 2019
AOR: Jan 2020
After that no update

application was received 31 July 2019. Got AOR in sept 2019. No further updates since then
Wow, almost 2 yrs now. No offense to 2020 applicants but the temp public policy should have been worded as the first x number of applicants rather than 2020. Imagine the time and $$ preparing apps, and employers hoping for a reasonable timeline to get help they need. Then 2 yrs without news. I know there are worst timeline with other previous or current programs, but this "Pilot" program is definetly a failure up to this point. Pandemic or not, the system should have been on top of the game.

But hey, there's no perfect system. I guess in this case, the "Pilot Program" process is a bit too far from perfect at this time.

My prediction, just for entertainment, is that 2019 apps will be finalized by June. All of them.

cheers

Well we r waiting with patience as always as no other choice. But truly disappointed with the system, they left in land applicants over express entry candidates coming from outside.

I am waiting for any good news soon from you guys. I’m not expecting my turn yet. It should be you. I never heard anyone who got their OWP (without experience and NOT UNDER INTERIM). So please, 2019 Pilot applicant, please give us an update. Thank you.

IMO, All these interem AOR are just for entertainment purposes only to satisfy the "AOR" target per the announcements, but really does not add any value to the application process. Real AOR means they entered to GCMS and check for completeness, thats when you know you did well on the application package.

cheers

Looks like you are the farthest in the race so far, I have not heard anyone with Medical Request? Chime in if anyone knows someone with complete medical. That would be fun to know since its the last step for stage 1 decision.

Hi. I got my medical request in March 2020 and no updates since then. I applied in August 2019, HCCP, no experience, inside Canada.

Oh wow, this is it, the exact time of pandemic where they drop the ball and just stop on theit track. You should be the leader of the pack here, if your app moves, then that's the only time we will see REAL progress here. Goodluck, I feel you will hear the good news anytime in the next few weeks, that's for sure!

Hi All,

I have been a silent reader here, following are my time line:

Application: September 2019
Applying From: Outside Canada
AOR Date Received: None
Eligibility Letter: March 2020
Biometric Request: March 2020
Medical Request: March 2020
Medical Result: June 2020 (Passed)

After the above there's no other update, I've been sending lot's of follow up via webform and yesterday this is what they told me:

We're currently prioritizing applications from:
  • Asylum claimants, and
  • Clients who are eligible to work while we process their application: to change jobs or employers, to restore their employer-specific work permit or for a work permit as a visitor.
With the above statement I don't think we will see some result this year.

Exactly the same timeline and letters for me. I called them last week and the only update for me is that they extended my medical.
