In the citizenship application there is a box that says "I have lived at my home address blank years, blank months."

I am making the home address my parents house but if I have not lived there for a while what am I supposed to put?

Hi,

Use whatever address you provided to CRA, OHIP, MTO (driver's licence), bank account, credit card account etc.

I have changed my address 4 times in the last 6 years. Can I fill in the time that I lived at my parent's residence even though that is not the most recent place I've lived? Because I am moving in a few weeks again so when I send my application I can't use my current address.

Hi,

Again, I will stick to my previous answer that I have given you. This will make your application too complicated. Or at least call all the offices to update your address and you can use this address as your home address. It doesn't matter how many times you have moved in the last 6 years because you have to provide all those addresses to them anyways.

Your current home address should at least match the address you have in file with the other government agencies. I am not sure if they really check if your addresses match, but it is always better to be safe than sorry. You don't want this simple thing to be the cause of your application being delayed or returned to you. You may even get flagged because you didn't provide them with the right addresses that would match the addresses that they have in file with the other offices in the last 6 years.

Fix it first, then send your application.

Use your current home address, whatever it is. If you using something else, its misrepresentation and grounds for refusal if they find out.....
