Home address and Mailing address in ECAS

Today I went to ECAS and see now I have two addresses in the system

Your current home address

and

Your current mailing address

on the left and right upper part of the page, respectively, instead of the home address only previously.

Does CIC update the ECAS system and change its page layout?

My spouse's only shows home, but the two were the same for us.

usually, from experience of doing CEC and hearing things from other ppl, split address or address change means DM or COPR soon.
Most ppl get two windows for address right before DM or COPR batch.
At least that's what ppl told me like 1-2 yrs ago.

So when did you find your address becomes two, one home and another mailing? I guess you might have checked ECAS once a day, isn't it?

It's not really true to my case tho mine changed from two to one and still nothing yet.

Well, in my spouse case, it was from 2 to 1 because we did address change and updated mail with additional info email.

My address splitted when close to decision made on CEC, and it's almost always split from 1 to 2 address not from 2 to 1.
I just remember address splitting from couple of old posts from 1-2 yrs ago. Good luck.
