My dad is very stressed at the moment. My parents have a holiday booked to Canada and he did the online visa application for both himself and my Mum. It asked if you’ve ever had TB. He ticked no for himself and yes for my Mum. His application got instantly approved and my Mums hasn’t but it also hasn’t asked for any more information. My Mum had it 60 years ago (thankfully antibiotics had been invented, she was a tiny child and was cured with no lasting issues!)! I’ve tried googling and found when you’re staying in Canada long term if you’ve had TB then you’ll be expected to have a TB test after a certain amount of months as you’re more likely to get it again but my parents are literally in Canada for one week and it’s been 60 years since she tested positive! She’s had no issues. She was followed by doctors in her childhood for some years and had some restrictions for a while but made a full recovery and has been infection free for 60 years.

Does anyone know what happens when tourists tick yes?
