I came to Canada from India as a Visitor, I'm 48yrs old. After spending 6 months,I have extended my Visit visa by another 3 months. By profession I'm a Travel Agent. I have 21 years of experience in the Travel field on various high positions. I have opened an IT services business in Canada, where as an I have an 1 Canadian on my pay roll. My personal experience in IT field is hands on. I know its 2 different fields that Im talking about, my concern is How do I get legal in this country with out leaving this country? I don't have enough funds to show.

1. If you are running a business in Canada, then you are already without status.

Can I hide that and get a work permit. I can get an offer letter as an Travel Manager from a reputed Travel agency?

On what basis do you think you qualify for a work permit? An offer letter isn't enough to get a work permit. Your employer in Canada also has to obtain an approved LMIA. As part of the LMIA process, they will have to advertise the job for at least a month to prove no Canadians could be found for the role and then pay a $1,000 processing fee to request that the LMIA be approved (not all of them are approved).

How exactly did you open a business in Canada and hire an employee... with no work permit?

Sounds like what you are doing is very illegal and could cause you to be deported from Canada with an exclusion order if you are caught. First piece of advice to you would be to stop all work completely while just here on visitor status.

Your question has already been answered.

There is no way for you to become legal using the illegal business you are operating now. The fact that you are operating an illegal business makes you removable from Canada. The longer you continue to operate the illegal business the greater the risk you will be caught. You need to stop operating your illegal business.

Like you have already been advised---you are currently operating an illegal business in Canada. Opening a business in Canada while on a Tourist visa is a violation of the visa terms and you are deportable if caught.

The process for you to get a work permit through LMIA has already been outlined

Yes. Close your business immediately. Leave Canada immediately. Apply through the correct procedure to enter Canada as a temporary foreign worker or other immigration class.
