But now since 2007 I am in australia I want to migrate to canada. Is it possible and one thing I dont have same occupation as before

Help me by giving suggestions
Thankyou

Hello Sajan,

To my knowledge, Yes.
Your experience must be within last ten years. Just study FSW program a bit more and you will get a good picture to determine your eligibility. I think you should re-take IELTS (general) test.

There is a big chance for you to be succeed under FSW.
Good Luck!

thanks for reply

But one thing whenever I take the assessment it said I need the job offer. So I am confused

And Regarding ielts I already have general one with 6 band expired 2012. So you mean I have to retake the Ielts to get more points
Thankyou

You can apply for Federal skilled category even if you do not have a job offer. IELTS valid till 2012 should hold good. Use the points calculator in CIC site to see if you can score 67

I suggest that you retake IELTS.

If you manage to get individual band score for Speaking: 6.5-9.0/ Listening: 7.5-9.0/ Reading: 6.5-9.0/ and writing: 6.5-9.0, you can claim for 16 points.

You do not have to have a Canadian job offer to be eligiable for FSW. If you have at least one year of continuous full time or equivalent paid work experience in the last ten years in one or more of the occupational categories identified in the Ministerial Instructions, you will be eligiable for FSW.
Note: The list of occupations can be found on our website at: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp

I assume that you could get 25 for Education + 16 for Language (Full point for IELTS language)+ 21 for Work experience and 10 for age= 72

Hi
Ice cube

I have calculated the point and I got 67. But regarding the work experience can I just provide letter from employer or I have to send more things because in my country there are no more documents the employer will give to us.
If so then can I apply by myself or better to use agent.
Just guide me

thanks for help

Hi,

you dnt really need an agent. you could do this by yourself. Can you just find out what your visa office document requirments are? Is your visa office New Delhi? we can ask seniors here what documents are required by CHC in ND for proof of employment. I am sure that it will be just more than a reference letter.

You do not require photographs at this time. just the application processing fee.

the address is correct

If by regular mail, please use this address- consider that mailing application by regular mail can be delayed due to slower delivery and holding time at PO. BOX. there fore, courier is the best option. (just from my own experience)

Citizenship & Immigration Canada
Federal Skilled Worker
Centralized Intake Office PO BOX 7500 Sydney, NS
B1P 0A9
Canada

If by courier:

Citizenship & Immigration Canada
Federal Skilled Worker
Centralized Intake Office
196 George Street
Sydney, NS
B1P 1J3
Canada 38

HI,

Make sure that you triple check your completed application package before sending it out. Once an error is made, things can be complicated. to prevent this, please use this instruction guide (IMM EG7000), can be found at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/EG7.pdf

Good luck!

Still confused about the application form. My son is not here with me in sydney australia. He is in Nepal. Can I include him from here. If so then what about the medical.
I have my NOC code 4131. How you classify primary secondary trade school and university. In my certifactes there are just mentioned two academic year for intermediate, 3 academic year for bachelor and 2 academic year for master. There were no mentioned about the month but they just mentioned the month when I issued my certificates. I mean just the date of issue.
And final calculation of my point Is it right or wrong
Qualifaction: 25
experiences:21
Ielts: L,6.5,R,5.5,W6,S5 Toatl: 7
age: 10
spouse: 4

Total: 67

Should I need to give the IELTS again or that one ok

Hi,
Yes, you (principal applicant) can add your child in your application. Medical is to be requested later in the process. do not worry about it right now. Yes you can claim for 25 points under educational factor. Do not be concerned about the dates at this stage. Academic transcripts will sort out all your confusions.

Do the IELTS again. you have a big chances of getting higher individual band score.

I assume that your spouse has a bachelor's degree and claiming for 4 points under adaptability?

your calculation is correct according to available information. however, If I were you, I would re-take IELTS. I would claim full points ( two additional points each) for reading, writing and speaking. you do not hav to do the test before you sending your application CIO, NS. Just fill your application with whatever points you could get if retaken the test and go for the test later on when you are ready. you will have minimum of two months to prepare yourself for it.
Hope this would be a help to your someway and let's wait for seniors suggestions.

good luck
