Helpful certifications for a programmer in Canada

But it isn't THAT helpful, what matters is the Canadian experience that backs up that certification.

Indeed - you need to back up your certification by some Canadian Job Experience. You can also look into Microsoft Developer Certification Track . You don't want to peruse just one vendor certification in this era.

IF its canadian experience which matters then its gonna be hard .. I was thinking to finish my 3 year experience in India and come to canada but i think its not a good idea if we have to have canadian experience. better to come early as possible and then find a job there..

now i am a Java programmer. the trend here in India now is if we are in to one area like Java we have to be very good on that and concentrate on that. So i was just concentrating on java because its what i like. Microsoft certifications means we may need to learn ASP.net etc and thats gonna be long way to go for me now .. i m tensed
