Hours have dropped due to slow season is it possible to get 2nd work permit so I can get a part time job? I am a BC PNP nominee and have applied for permanent residency (app received 1st November but as yet heard nothing ) stressing out due to not being able to live on 24 hours a week.

Any one know how to help?????????????

No - it's not possible. You can only hold one work permit at a time.

Right, there is nothing much you can do. You can only hold one work permit at a time and although you would probably be getting more money if you were laid off completely and on EI, if you are being sponsored for PNP by your employer and if they laid you off, you might lose your application. Second, because you are a TFW, you might not be able to get EI.
