Hey,this ones for my friend..
Timeline -
entered canada jan,2019 1 year course till oct 2019
Oct 20 2019 - applied for study permit extension (another 2 yrs course)
Classes starting(new course) - jan/6/2020
Left canada(family emergency) - jan 1 2020
Came back- 26/jan/2020
Original SP expiry date - jan 31 2020
Continued studying for new clg since jan 26.
SP extension approved —14/02/2020
Is there any problem that he continued his studies on implied status? +
Does missing out on first 2 weeks of classes effect pgwp application?

No I don’t think so there should be any issues because your friend applied before their study permit was expired. I would suggest that they confirm once with any lawyer or on ircc official website once.

Thx , PS he left canada after his orientation thou , thats why the clg didn't mind anything and the transcripts show full time student too for all semester. He basically was “absent” for 2 weeks IMO, isnt it?
