My application was filed in last September 2010. it has been 5 months now and yet we haven't received our medical requests.

i wonder how it takes so long.....

Depending on Visa office it takes between 8 months to 18 months after full doc submission to CHC

Agreed with ankit.

I suggest you start to wonder only after an additional 12 months.
