Dear all;
I submitted a skilled immigrant application in Nova Scotia Canada on Sept,28 2010 and I want to add a baby born on October 2,2010 to my application.I still did not received any e-mail or any thing from CIC office but the procedure guides to notify such happening immediately.What can i do ?Is there any means to notify the visa office about this please?Any help will be appropriated.

Wait for the 1st AOR from CIO, when your file reaches your Visa Office submit the updates application with documents of kid( passport copy, photographs, birth certificate, application fee $150)

Will this not delay my application?Or how long will the AOR take usually ?

Right now people who submitted their applications in the beginning of September are receiving their AORs. So it should be your turn in a matter of a few weeks.

Once you have your AOR, the file will be transferred to your visa ofice. At that point you will get the chance to make all the necessary updates to your file.
