Hi, i submitted my application, passport and other requirements in VFS Qatar last 21st of june. And on the 25th of june i received a text message that my application has been forwarded to Embassy of Canada. Im just too worried because until now there’s no update yet! And the problem is my vacation leave was set on July 19 this coming thursday. Whenever i am tracking my application to vfsglobal its appearing that my application is being processed at Canada Visa Office Abu Dhabi.

Unfortunately there's really nothing you can do but wait. The processing times listed on the IRCC web site are just estimates. Actual processing can sometimes take a few months. We generally recommend applying several months (3-4) before the planned travel date.

Hello, i received message from vfs that my processed application has been received from the Embassy of Canada at Canada Visa Application Center, Doha, Qatar. Should i collect my passport now or should i wait for a message again stating that its now ready to pick up my passport?
