Please I really need help!
I need to go to Canada for a conference and I still haven't heard back from CIC after submitting my application online.
An ASC (application supported center) in the US collected my biometrics, but no updates regarding my application.
Is it normal??

You're not going to hear anything until you are either approved or refused for the visa.

CIC website says that the process would take around 19 days, but it's been 2 months since I submitted my application.
I am very worried. I already purchased my flight ticket and booked my hotel

The online processing times are just estimates. It's not unusual for processing to take a few months. We don't recommend purchasing airline tickets until you know your visa is approved (hopefully yours are refundable just in case).
