It's almost two years already and my family got the letter from embassy for ask some forms and personal imformation. My husband as the first dependant and asked for criminal record. He had bad record about 30 years ago and he also does not want to go to canada accompany me. He is worried about would this gonna affect my child and my child might can not go to canada because of his problem. But I don't know what to do about his problem at this time and also worried if his problem would affect me can't get PR in canada.
What can I do with this?

Thanks if anyone can help me with this.

Read http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op24-eng.pdf - Section 9, as this applies to your situation.

Then read http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op02-eng.pdf - Section 5.11 as this *may* apply to your husband.

5.11. Inadmissibility and non-accompanying family members

All family members, whether accompanying the principal applicant or not, are required to be
examined unless an officer decides otherwise. Normally, an inadmissible family member, whether
accompanying or not, would render the principal applicant inadmissible
.

You might want to consider engaging the services of an immigration lawyer if you seriously expect that your husbands past may make him criminally inadmissible.

If your husband doesn't want to join you here in Canada you can write a letter in the immigration to withdraw him from your application and notarize it.

That will not make any difference in this situation.

Thanks for friends help about above...
I decided to divorce with him. would this gonna help and no affect to my child's application to canada?
No one I can ask for. I just suppose this time submit the all ducuments the embassy asked and even my husband's even the criminal record of him (because the government ask for wether if the family number accompany you or not) then i would write a letter for cancle my husband's application. and also submit the divorce certificate and show them the custody of child is me. but i don't know how to fill the form of IMM008 and additional family information and schedule A. (i mean only my child's or both of them.) do i have to fill only my child's imformation or my husband too. he was list as a dependent but now i divorced him, it;s all changed about.,..should i just send my child's ducument or both of them? can someone give me some ditail of how to send the ducument to embassy of this case?

Thanks a lot...

Ah, this changes everything. You should have said in your very first post that you are (or were in the process of becoming) divorced.

If you apply, and you are divorced, his history will make no difference. You should change your application and remove him from it immediately, but you will have to prove that you are completely finished with the divorce process.

Hi my friend, thanks for your help!
Me and my husband not in good relationship anyway. Once I am divorced then where do i send the withdrawal letter to? anything else do i have to do with this?
