I am going to send in our application tomorrow morning. But do I have to get a commissioner of oath to certify our photocopies of all our ID's??

Are you a US Citizen? I only ask because in our situation (me being the US Citizen) I did not have the copies of our ID's certified at all (we applied outland.)

I didn't certify ours either.

I am a Canadian citizen and my husband is the American citizen. So I do not need to certify them then?

I would say no because, again, I did not do that and I had no problem concerning that. Unless someone else had a different experience?

Another question for you is....

For requested office I put Mississauga or Ottawa? My husband is here on an extended stay visitor visa.

Where did you find that information? I don't think that's for you to choose. You send your application to

Courier address (no public drop-offs)
2 Robert Speck Parkway,
Suite 300
Mississauga, ON
L4Z 1H8
Fax: 905-803-7392

and then they will forward it to Ottawa. At least that's my understanding. My husband is an US citizen too and I am Canadian, so I am assuming our applications are similar. And around the same time submitted too!! Yey. Best of luck!!

Best of luck to u too Thaliada!!! ;D

Unless they have changed things Inland applications go to Vegerville and Outland applications go to Mississauga.

I am a bit concerned about this now... Hopefully they will fill it in as they wish based on all the information provided. I donno how I missed that one. What did you write? I hope everything will be fine :)

Did your husband receive the extension of his visa already? Can you tell me how long it usually takes? (We applied online for it on May 23rd). Thank you so much.

Me again. I found it on the website. It is CPP-O -> for "temporary lawful residents only". I think you should write CPP-O or CPP-Ottawa. Since you are sending it tomorrow, you can join the May spreadsheet :)

That's what we are going to put is CPP-O. Question for ya so of course we are married and he is visiting do we have to fill out the common law union declaration form? No right? My frustration is also setting in now because numerous people tell me I am doing the application sigh....

No. You are not in a common-law relationship unless you've been living together for a year. So do not fill that in.
