HELLO ALL , I'VE APPLIED FOR FAMILY SPONSORSHIP FOR CANADA FOR ME AND MY FAMILY , I HAVE MY BROTHER IN CANADA WITH HIS FAMILY TOO
I'VE RECEIVED AN E-MAIL BUT I DON'T KNOW IF THEY ACCEPTED OR NOT >>> WHEN SHALL I KNOW THE ANSWER >>> THANK YOU

Best regards, SALAM MORAD

How did you apply? Which immigration stream? Provincial nominee? FSW? Something else? Where are you from?

I APPLIED( Family Sponsorship -This form is for family sponsorship , Federal Family Class)
I'M FROM IRAQ AND WE LEAVE FOR SECURITY REASONS ...THANK YOU .

When did you apply?

Unfortunately what you are saying doesn't make sense.

To apply through family class, you must have a family member in Canada sponsor you. Your brother doesn't qualify to sponsor you.

Are you sure it was a federal family class application?

Seeing as how you're in Iraq of all places and that your brother obviously cannot sponsor you because you're over 18, you'll probably have a better chance applying via Refugee class.

yes , i chose >>Choose Your Evaluation Form >> Family Sponsorship ,,, do you mean my brother cannot sponsor me , father and mother only allowed ....
or i should go to another country just myself then submit for immigration then sponsor my family ????
if there is another way would you tell me about it ,,
thank you ....

If everyone else in your family is dead, then there's a SLIGHT chance he can sponsor you. A parent, if under 22, can sponsor you or a spouse. But I wouldn't use marriage as a way to get into the country, as then you will have to deal with some PO'd Immigration Officers plus people on here.
