Hi,

Posting because my common-law partner applied for a Study permit and I for an open work permit, both application where granted and we plan to arrive to Toronto for the end of december 2017.

Our main concern is that we want to get formally married before travel and we need to know if this could change something in the results of our applications.

Thanks
IC

This won't impact anything. Go ahead and get married.

Hi, did you apply together? Did you receive the response at the same time? because I got my study permit but my wife not yet her open work permit. Thank you.
