Help with super visa

My Mother is applying for a Super Visa back in the UK & I am trying to help her from out here in Canada....

She is a British citizen, can she just apply for a Super Visa or will she have to get another visa as well???
I know she has to have medical insurance from out here in Canada before she applies there in the UK
But it also says travel ticket or itinerary I don't want to get the ticket as I don't know how long she would have to wait to find out about the super visa, so can I just put in an itinerary or would it have to come from a travel agent?

Any help would be appreciated thank you.

you can just create an itinerary in word document. there are lots of templates online

In the document checklist, you can state " Travel ticket to be secured once itinerary is finalized and application is approved".
