Hi,

I am writing to ask for help. I have been previously denied a visa to visit the UK (general category visitor visa). In the statutory questions section I came across two questions (highlighting the wording I find confusing in bold):

  • Has tallguywithbeard been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country? (required)
  • Has tallguywithbeard ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?: (required)

In my application, I have answered yes to the second question and no to the first.
I was refused visitor visa to travel to UK on two occasions (dates mentioned) on grounds of unemployment and not meeting minimum requirements of paragraphs 4.2 of Appendix V: Immigration Rules for Visitors.

Do I have to write yes for both questions or am I right in saying yes only to the second one?

I have to send in a Schedule A IMM5669e form in the next 5 days, so do I say yes to both now and attach a LOE together?

Please let me know urgently. I will appreciate all help.

“Yes” to both and provide a letter of explanation along with schedule A, stating that made an honest mistake and should have answered “yes” to both questions

Thank you.
I can write a CSE and apologize for my mistake, that I was not trying to hide anything, since i did technically declare it in one question.

I've got a new problem << seems to be the title of my canadian journey

In the original form I had said yes to the following question
  • Has tallguywithbeard ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?: (required)

Currently I've to fill the IMM5669e form, and in that one, the words "been refused a visa or permit, denied entry" are not there...instead its "Refused admission".

So in this case it will be a no to this question? Since I was not refused admission, just refused a visa...or is it yes to both here.
The questions are 6d and 6e, for anyone who has the form

Hey what did you answer to those questions!
I answered yes and no.
Any update?
