My husband has recently returned to Quebec to live in our house there. He is living in the house we bought there and is French-Canadian - born in Quebec. He lived with me here in the UK for 11 years but has decided to return for good. I still have a flat in the UK and want to send him some personal possessions, ie. pictures, kitchen stuff and various household items. Is it OK if I do this and address them to him at our home? I am intending to visit for about 5 months in July to see how I like the Canadian life and have made no formal application for a visa as yet. If this is something that can be done (only talking about 3 tea cartons) what would be the cheapest way and would we be liable for customs tax. The boxes would be delivered to our house in Quebec.
Thanks all.
Thanks all.
