- Schedules counselling appointments and psychoeducational programs for clients
- Handles complex customer service complaints or inquiries, and implements corrective actions or identifies processes and systems that require improvement and implement new processes
- Assess the urgency of request for services and evaluate the need for crisis intervention including working with building security or requesting emergency response
- Collate and process sensitive personal data following stringent processes to ensure this data is stored and managed securely
- Perform data processing and prepare statistical reports (i.e. tabulate responses from evaluation forms and aggregate responses to develop summary evaluation reports for outreach, group and workshop programs)
- Organize, plan and arrange meetings, workshops, functions and special events (I.e. Providing informational packages for meetings, recording minutes or leasing with external vendors to provide catering)
- Develop and deliver orientation training to new staff and educate them about current procedures and operations. Provide refresher training sessions as required
- Other general office related duties including the waiting area is well maintained and stocked with informational brochures, all office equipment is maintained and organizing servicing or repair when necessary
Administrative Officers main duties involve:
- Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate and implement new procedures
- Establish work priorities, delegate work to office support staff, and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed
- Carry out administrative activities associated with admissions to post-secondary educational institutions
- Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
- Co-ordinate and plan for office services, such as accommodation, relocations, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance and security services
- Conduct analyses and oversee administrative operations related to budgeting, contracting and project planning and management processes
- Assist in preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
- Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals and correspondence
- May supervise records management technicians and related staff.
Could anyone help clarify whether I have chosen the right NOC or if there's one that matches my job role better?
