Hello,
So my situation is unique. I applied for spousal sponsorship was refused as they did not believe marriage was genuine so we went to appeal hearing last week. Court adjourned the case as they think someone gave them information I have children from past relationship. I did not mention that in my application form. So here is the thing I am not on the birth certificate of those two kids neither on any legal documents and even the mother in past declared I was not their father. So I did not want to include in my application form I have two kids because legally on no documents I am listed as their father and I dont even know if DNA Sample would make me their father. If later I was found to be not a dad that would put me down for misrepresentation. I only did not include them in the application form as I had no legal rights towards them not I was there when kids were born. Most importantly kids are born Canadian and if any thing I would have liked to include them in application form to support my case but I could not as I am not sure if they were even my kids. Court said they need to investigate further and get more evidence before they can continue with the hearing. Can someone tell me what are possible outcome here. I am 100 % sure my name is not on any legal documents that says I am their father which is why I cud not put my name on the application form
