I have few doubts on GIC procedure. Please help!

1. After paying GIC, What if we decide to change the university?
-Is it possible
-Is it a normal process?
-Please elaborate.

2. What time frames should we consider for GIC account creation; Amount transfer; confirmation letter or certificate? Total process of how many days?

Thank You.

Thanks for the reply.

I have SBI account, 11 Days is too much.

Those SBI idiots. u knw what they do ?

They firstly forward ur money to SBI canada (their branch in SBI). Then they on the next day forward ur money to BMO.then after 4-5 days BMO forwards ur money. It took total 5 business days to reach the money to my account !!!! I transfered on 18/7. n money reached my account on 24/7

:o

In that case, Should I open a new account in Axis Bank and then initiate the process?

My main concern is to be able to change university with out further delays after paying GIC.

I think we need to email them the second univ's acceptance letter and they will update their system.

This helps when CIC India validates with them, they are on same boat!
