Hi currently i am in canada and i am not liking this wit colg. My course has a compulsory co op and wothout co op its incomplete and colg wil never help wit co op. The capacity tht the colg tld us was 30 n nw there r 70 students in class which is horrible. Colg has given is few options tht is transfer to other course or deffer urself to next intake. If v deffer to next intakr thn v hv to go for general arts n science course which v don wan. So nw v friends have planned to withdraw the course n go for sum other colg in sept intake. So wat do wud u guys suggest on this. Shld v go for sept intake n jus doin nthng. Plz help

first and foremost its very difficult to understand what you write. Secondly if you withdraw and the college reports it to CIC u have 3 months after which your study permit will be cancelled. you have to keep an eye on your study permit restrictions while you switch college.

"As of June 1, 2014, all study permit holders in Canada will need to actively pursue studies. This means that:

if you hold a study permit, you must remain enrolled and make reasonable and timely progress towards completing your program; and
failing to do so could lead to your removal from Canada"

If you plan to change college . You should must report to CIC and can mention your reasons while getting the offer letter from other college .

To report to CIC , you can create a my cic account and there will be a option transferring your designated institution . You can do this after recieving offer letter from college other than your current one .

You can also call them directly to let them know about the change . If you will do everything right there will be no problem at all . Donn't worry

I also came here to Canada last month, my college is Seneca College and my program will start in Sept intake. I guess you will have to wait till september. You cannot work legally but if you get a cash job, you can arrange your monthly expenses by that.
