Help, what fees am I paying for OWP?

Hello! I'm an inland applicant for Sponsorship through Common-Law and recently received my AOR and AIP and am trying to apply for an OWP, but went out of status after my Visitor Visa expired in October. I believe I'm still safe, as I fall under Public Policy Under A25(1) of IRPA, but my question is regarding the fees I need to pay when applying for an OWP.

I know I have to pay the initial work permit fee (155) and the OWP fee (100), but since I'm out-of-status do I technically still have to pay to restore my status as a worker? I wasn't here on a work permit before this, this would be my first time applying for one.

You won’t qualify for an OWP until AIP if out of status. If it has been less than 90 days since you lost your status apply to restore your status.

Ok then you can apply for OWP. There is a good chance you will get PR first. No you shouldn’t need to restore your status first.
