HELP URGENT ONLINE STUDY PERMIT. PLS REPLY IF POSSIBLE

Hey guys,

So I applied for my study permit/ study visa online on September 4th but my university has already started. Its been 2 working weeks now (September 20) and I still haven't got news about my application.

I did my Medicals Upfront, No Need for Biometrics, Paid Online and have shown sufficient amount of funds.

I have until October 15th to enter university or else I will be deregistered from it. Do you guys think I have a chance?

Inform the same to university. Also check if it can be deferred to winters 2016 since you have already lost too much time.

Online applications are processed fast compared to paper based applications as per various applicants. However may vary from case to case.

Thanks Viky! Its too late to defer but i considered it way before but I said no so now its basically waiting for October 15th.

I have been following the classes online so I havent really lost much time.

I have no health issues (I think), no criminal records, completed all applications, gave a passport photo and as I said, I don't need biometrics since the country I come from has it in the passport already.

I got 2 emails saying that my application was updated, one did actually change (application changed to OPEN), then the second time nothing changed. What does it mean? Is it a good sign?

Do you think it is possible that I get my study permit before then?
