I am hoping someone would be able to give me a little inside of my visa application as this is sort of my last hope.
I have been in Canada since the end of June on a eTA & submitted my Open Work Permit application on July 17th by mail. I didn't seek professional advice or have a legal representative, I just downloaded the forms from the government website and submitted the supported documents they asked for. I don't recall receiving a UCI or application number. So when I tried to link my posted application to my GCKey account, without a UCI or application number, my application doesn't come up. Nothing also comes up when I fill in my person information regarding my application etc. passport number. I also cannot send an enquire email seeking help without a UCI or application number. Where do I go from here?!
I'm due to fly back home early October, however, my application has my address of my residency in Canada. Do I have to update my application? How can I do that without any way of tracking my application down? How much longer can it take? I understand for a work visa it can take a while to receive and process, but how can I get an update on how long it will be?
I also took my IELTS language test which I completed on my application. Was I supposed to attach my official results with my application? It didn't ask for any documents.
Please help. I have no idea what to do now.
