My wife was on visitor visa((V-1 valid till 2020) till now in canada . she applied under Family sponsorship inland and now got open work permit .

1)She has open work permit now valid till 2018 . Her previous visitor status was to expire on 1 August. Do we have to file a visitor extension ? I believe work permit will grant us validity to remain in canada till 2018 ?

2)Do we have to apply for another TRV Called as workers TRV (on which its specified class W-1 instead of V-1 which is purely a visitor visa ? I think this will help her to travel easily then being on Visitor V1 TRV Visa .

Any suggestions or experiences ?

1. No, she doesn't need to apply for a visitor extension.

2. No, she doesn't need to apply for a new TRV. Note that with an inland app, it is strongly recommended that she not leave Canada at all during the process.

Your situation is completely different than the OP's. You should post your question in the Foreign Workers section of the forum.
